Darning with two styles

Darning can be such a delicate and detailed craft. Back in the day women of certain households practised their own patterns and the family coat of arms. Different bindings and patterns can be used to accentuate the repair and make it a decorative feature of the garment. As well as being sturdy and long-lasting. Here we used two bindings atop one another to make a detailed pattern.
